Winnebago bought this back around 1970, and purposely mothballed it for over 30 years in a warehouse. The book, "The Winnebago Story, 1958 - 1988" tells the whole story. A La Sharo repair business bought the warehouse which was loaded with La Sharo body molds and other parts, and also happened to have Winnie 0001 in it as well. The owner had no interest in keeping the rig and put in on E-bay in September, 2005.
