The funeral of Burney Willis Ballew The funeral of Burney Willis Ballew will take place on Tuesday, February 14, 1998, at 10.00 a.m. at Greer Funeral Home, 235 South Pennsylvania, Mangum, Oklahoma. At the request of the family, the coffin of Burney will lie within the First United Methodist Church, Mangum, Oklahoma, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. for private viewing. Following the service at First United Methodist Church, Burney's coffin will be taken by road to the Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma, for burial. Burney will be buried in a plot that he chose when he moved back to Mangum after his retirement. Family Mourning is being observed by members of the family and by their Households up to and including the day of the funeral. A Book of Condolence is open for signing through the day of the funeral.
